1. Where does your honey come from?

Our honey is produced right in our backyard, where we care for six beehives on our rural family property. Each jar is harvested with love and care, ensuring a truly local and personal touch.

2. Is your honey raw and unfiltered?

Yes! Our honey is 100% raw and unfiltered, just as nature intended. This means it retains all the natural enzymes, antioxidants, and pollen that give raw honey its amazing flavor and health benefits.

3. Do you use any additives or preservatives?

No, never. Our honey is completely pure—no additives, preservatives, or artificial ingredients of any kind. Just raw, natural honey straight from our hives.

4. What type of honey do you sell?

We currently sell wildflower honey, which comes from the nectar of a variety of flowers near our hives. This gives the honey a rich, floral flavor that varies slightly from season to season.

5. How should I store the honey?

We sell our honey in 900g plastic containers for easy storage and use. To keep your honey at its best:

• Store it at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
  
  

• Avoid refrigeration, as it speeds up crystallization.
  
  

• If your honey crystallizes (which is completely natural!), simply place the sealed container in warm water (not boiling) until it returns to its smooth, liquid state.
  
  

6. Why did my honey crystallize? Is it still safe to eat?

Crystallization is a natural process that happens when the glucose in honey separates from the water and forms crystals. It’s a sign that your honey is raw and unprocessed!
Yes—it’s completely safe to eat and still just as nutritious and delicious. You can use it as-is (some people love the texture!) or gently warm it to return it to liquid form.

7. Do you offer delivery or pickup?

At the moment, we offer local pickup from our rural home and free delivery within the Sherwood Park area. We’ll provide exact directions and pickup times when you place your order.

8. How long does honey last?

Honey is one of the only foods that doesn’t spoil! If stored properly in a sealed container at room temperature, it can last indefinitely. For best flavor, we recommend using it within 2 years of purchase.

9. Are your bees treated ethically?

Absolutely. Our bees are a part of our family! We care for them year-round, ensuring they’re healthy, safe, and never overworked. We follow ethical, sustainable beekeeping practices that put the well-being of the bees first. We also have our Alberta beekeeping licenses.

10. How do I buy your honey?

Simply head over to our "Contact Us" section and send us a message. One of our beekeepers will get back to you to arrange pickup and answer any other questions you may have.

11. Can I visit the hives or buy in person?

Yes! We love sharing our passion for beekeeping. If you’re interested in a tour or would like to purchase honey in person, please contact us—we’d be happy to welcome you and show you around our little bee haven.
